ACAP Visits Klub Stepinac

A guest speaker stands beside a podium and presents to Klub Stepinac teens seated on chairs in the parish hall, with the ACAP (Association of Croatian American Professionals) slide on the screen behind him.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, Klub Stepinac welcomed a special guest: Nikola Meteš, president of the Association of Croatian American Professionals (ACAP), who visited our high school dance ensemble in the St. Jerome parish hall.

ACAP is a non-profit, international network of Croatian-American professionals that helps its members build connections, share knowledge and strengthen the global Croatian community.

Nikola talked with our teens about what ACAP does and how they can become part of it. He also told them about the scholarship opportunities that ACAP offers to students of Croatian heritage, and about the importance of building community.

For our Klub Stepinac members, it was an inspiring look at how the Croatian roots they celebrate through song and dance can stay part of their lives through school, work and beyond. Students who would like to learn more about ACAP and its scholarships can visit www.croampro.com.

Thank you, Nikola, for visiting Klub Stepinac and for encouraging our young people to stay connected with the Croatian-American community. Hvala!
